  • Worked with History UK and academics across the country on Student Engagement in History Recorded Roundtable (2026)

  • Working with Royal Historical Society as part of Advocacy and Public Engagement in History sub-committee (2026-2027)

  • Worked with the Bath Assembly Rooms 2024-2025 on their new visitor experience and held a public lecture 

  • Gave a public lecture at BRLSI in Bath on Bath Marriage Mart Reassessed (2025)

  • Spoke at NACBS in Montreal, Canada on Distant Communications in the Long Nineteenth Century (2025)

  • Presented paper on Teaching Anxiety: History of Emotions as an Approach to student engagement in History at the Age of Fear Conference (2025)

  • Presented numerous papers at BSECS 2020-2025 on emotions, letter writing, George Canning's Work Stress and discomfort of letter writing. Notable was my talk on 'An Impassioned Emotional Defence: The letters of Mary Anne Canning and her son, George Canning which was nominated for the President's Prize. A longer version was presented at the IHR Life Cycles Seminar (2022)

  • Earlier papers were also presented at a range of events, including the Northampton History Seminar Series, Correspondence 1400-present and Social History Society Conference .
